Bedtime Stories

Frivolous songs of Crime and Theatre

In this stage project, Suna Suner und Joachim Claucig present a repertoire of dark songs which make freeze one’s blood. With a keen sense of the perfect quantum of sin and evil, the protagonists have acquired a music and performance style that makes the audience go for more every moment.

Songs from dark cabaret, film and theatre, as well as musical theatre are interweaved with a storyline full of blazing humour and ambiguous irony. In an atmosphere of felony and morbidity, the two shady protagonists are mired in a hotbed of sin, murder, fraud, vengeance and darkness.

Cabaret Noir

The two artists Suna Suner and Joachim Claucig have previously worked together at the stage project Music For Separees (2012–2018) where they gave proof of their stagecraft and musicianship in numerous edgy concert shows at prestigious venues from Vienna to Istanbul (e.g. Cabaret Fledermaus, Rote Bar, Natural History Museum Dome Hall, Austrian Cultural Forum Istanbul). VIENNA NOIR is geared to the Cabaret Noir genre and captivates the audience with extravaganza and different shades of gloom, misery, and decadence.
